This was an amazing stay for a social visit. The room was new-fashioned, had private bathroom. Shower facilities, a hairdryer and bath sheets were a plus. The location was stunning, around 10-15 minutes walk from a refined museum. ...

Had a lovely stay. The shower was impressively powerful and the breakfast was scrumptious, especially the Eggs Royale. Can't wait to return for another great stay!

Great bar, restaurant. Comfortable beds
That there was nothing more in the bar at 23.30, we went to an event in the Folk Club.

I loved how easy it was to stroll to nearby Hitchin Coffee Lab just a few steps away for a delicious morning brew and enjoy the serene views at St Mary's Church, just a short walk from the hotel, making my weekend feel like a perfect city getaway.

Second stay, breakfast was very good again. Ideally located in the centre of Hitchin. Restaurants and other directly accessible
The water took forever to get warm in the morning. Therefore mostly cold showered. On the last day a smoke detector had a quirk and there was a false alarm 3 times at night

Friendly, welcoming staff. Good food & wine and comfortable beds. Central location, although satnav had difficulty finding it. Only stayed overnight before a sports event so didn't have time to really make the best of our stay....

We explored the local shops and enjoyed a visit to nearby St Mary's church. The WiFi was great, and the beds were comfy. The bar area is lovely, and the food is well-priced.
Unfortunately, the bathroom in our room had a dripping shower head, quite bothersome at night. It took away from the overall comfort of our stay.
